Potty training could be going alot better. Yesterday Aubrey had an accident at the daycare while I was at a MOPS meeting and today she had one at a store. Lesson learned: I need to keep more backup clothes in my car. She hasn't pooped on the potty yet and today Brad put her on the potty and walked away for a minute and she climbed down and pooped on the floor. We have had many accidents at home this evening. The novelty is going potty is starting to wear off for her and she has been asking to wear a diaper. I don't think that is a sign of good progress. Someone please get to Austin and take over this potty training for me. We have gone through 5 pairs of pants today...I would just keep her in panties and a shirt but it is really cold today. BLAHHHHH!!!
On a lighter side the kids and I went to the library for storytime and the park to play and have a picnic lunch on Wednesday with our friends Aimee & Grace and Kristy & Kate. The girls had so much FUN!! Aubrey got some payback for the black eye.

Potty Time!!!
It is finally officially Potty Time at our house. Aubrey has been ready but I have been dragging my heels. Today I put panties on mostly because she wanted them and refused to put on a diaper. All of her little friends wear panties, another reason that I have been putting off potty training because I see the moms run to the bathroom every 10 minutes with false alarms and always worrying about where the potty is. And I knew that it will be difficult with Beck in tow but she is ready. We tried in January but we had so many accidents in one day and I was so tied down feeding Beck every 2-3 hours that it was really hard. But now Beck is going longer between meals (he is actually taking a nap longer than 30 minutes right now if you can believe it) and Aubrey hasn't had any accidents yet this morning. She has tee-teed twice in the potty and our panties are DRY. She wanted to show off her panties, here you go.

Too Stinkin' Cute
Beck after dinner tonight he had squash, sweet potatoes and half a jar of prunes. Nummy!!

And Aubrey notice the black eye. Aubrey has made a new friend, her name is Grace. We met her and her mom Aimee at Kindermusik. They came over on Friday to play and the girls were wrestling over a toy and Grace let go and Aubrey went flying into the coffee table corner. Ouch!! She is fine, it isn't even bothering her anymore, but I knew that it would turn into a black eye. Click here for more of Grace. She is such a cutie, we really enjoy hanging out with Grace & Aimee, we are going to meet them at the library tomorrow and go to the park for some sliding & picnicing.
It's Official...
I have GERD or gastroesophageal reflux disease. I have known this forever because I have always had heartburn but I have been officially diagnosed now. This is one of those things that was keeping us so busy last week. Monday I went to the doctor and they did 2 tests on me. The first was Esophageal Manometry where they insert a tube into my nose and all the way to my stomach to test the squeezing of my esophagus and the esophageal sphincter. Sounds like fun... Huh? And you have to be awake because they have you swallow constantly during the test. It was the wierdest thing I have ever had done to me. Until they started the second test, the Bravo test, where they sprayed a numbing spray in the back of my mouth/throat area and then with this long cord thing they attached this capsule/computer chip thing in my esophagus. The capsule sends information about the ph level of my esophagus to a pager sized data recorder that I had to wear on my person for 3 days 24/7. So I had to push button on the recorder when I was having reflux and etc. And write down all my meals and sleeping times. I could feel the capsule in my esophagus for like 4 days, it was difficult to swallow, I had to make sure that I chewed my food really well. Most of the time I ate smaller meals. And eventually the capsule dislodges itself and passes, it is disposible. The nurse called this afternoon to give me my diagnosis and I have to follow up with my Gastroenereologist on March 19th. Not sure what we are going to do to treat it, I guess that I will just have to continue my meds for the rest of my life. I already had an endoscopy in December and they took a tissue sample and nothing is cancerous yet. So good news so far, I could have told the doc that I had GERD without having to choke on a plastic tube for 30 min but oh well. But I guess that they worst part was being off my meds for a week. I had horrible reflux...I thought that I was dying. When I took the recorder back on Wednesday and got in the car and took my meds and chased them with 4 tums and then 4 more tums an hour later. Does that sound normal? Funny thing is that it is totally normal for me. When I was prego I would go through tums like crazy even on my meds.

Crazy Busy!!
So sorry it has been over a week since my last post but we have been super busy lately, I will fill you in later. Here are some highlights of us in San Antonio last weekend when Dee Dee was in town, The Great had the masks left over from a Mardi Gras party.

Aubrey has worn her pink princess dress (Thanks Momma & B-daddy!) for the last 2 days, she only takes it off to eat and to change into pjs or clothes in the AM. All naps have been taken in the dress and she tries to wear the hat during naptime too but it presents problems. What a cutie!!

Uncle TW please find the charger to my Barbie Jeep, I sit in it all the time in the garage and I wish that it would go. Thanks so much! Love, Aubrey

Good Day!
It has been a great day!! I went to the apple store to have my ipod that I got for Christmas 2006 looked at. It has never worked right, I have always had issues with it. Well lucky me that honored the one year warranty even though it is a month and a half past the warranty. I guess my sob story and me with my 2 kiddos sold him. So I got a brand new Refurb Ipod! I am super pumped!!
Returned a pair of Robeez that we got as a gift for Beck to Nordstrom and they are shipping me (free of charge) the correct size. I love Norsdstrom, you don't get the level of customer service that they provide anywhere else.
Then I went to the Gap (you always have to check to see if anything is on sale) and I found a perfect pair of jeans on sale for $11.99. They are even the right length-petite. Not that I am a petite girl by any means but I have short legs. Woo Hoo!!
Aubrey ate a huge breakfast & lunch. I always have to be thankful for that since my little 26 pounder is so petite. And she took a nap today at her nap time, Tuesday & Wednesday she refused to nap and then finally collapsed at 5:30pm. Now if I could just get the Beckster to sleep longer than 20 minutes, he is my catnapper.
Only drawback today was I couldn't get into the Pilates class today again b/c the infant daycare was booked. They will only take 8 infants at a time, I should have scheduled him sooner again. And the last 2 weeks I haven't been able to go b/c Aubrey & Beck have been to sick to take them to the daycare. One day the stars will all align and I will get to go.
And I have the CUTEST baby boy in the whold wide world. I took these of Beck on my bed this afternoon. He is the smiliest baby ever!! And he is practicing sitting up, he can only do it for a few seconds but once he realizes that he is the one doing it he will master it.
Is this not the cutest baby boy ever? Really!
I really am so blessed!!

Too cute!!
Aubrey just did the cutest thing. I heard her singing on the monitor, she is suppose to be napping, while I am waiting on the ECI people to show up (more on that later). I go up to put her back to bed and she is sitting up in her bed rocking & singing to her Bitty Baby. It is the cutest thing ever. So I got her to lay down with Bitty and I covered them both up for a nap. I think that she might be the cutest & sweetest little girl EVER. ;)
